About us

The Pride Media Centre was established in 2018 as a safe, welcoming space for businesses and organisations from the LGBT+ community and our allies, to grow, develop and be creative

The Pride Media Centre was opened by Lord Michael Cashman CBE, in May 2019 and at the time was the first of its kind in the UK with studios, meeting rooms, performance spaces, recording facilities and offices for up to thirty businesses, charities and organisations.

Lord Michael Cashman CBE

“30 years after a small group of us came together to found the Stonewall group to fight for legal equality and social justice for LGBT people, I couldn’t be prouder than using a pair of scissors, not to cut up hate mail, but to cut a ribbon and open this brilliant, innovative, and welcoming Pride Media Centre.

Its outreach work and commitment to equality is truly ground breaking and it’s a real privilege to support his initiative.

I am absolutely delighted to become a patron”
